•Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. Seemingly out of nowhere, you suddenly face a challenge of something totally unexpected.
•Had you seen the curveball coming you could have prepared for it. If you had known at what angle it would hit, you could have cushioned the force.
•Now all you feel is the pain! The discomfort of the brokenness and shattered “normalcy” has left you wondering if God even cares.
•Many individuals today are facing circumstances beyond their control. They are dealing with situations they absolutely have no answers for.
•Consequently, many times, the absolute and only answer is God! In actuality, God is truly the answer to every situation, good or bad, that passes through the avenues of everyday life.
•Of course we understand that some situations and outcomes in life are brought on by self-guided or mis-led choices. However, many hardships and circumstances are just simply life itself dealing an undesired hand.
•We do not live in a perfect, “Garden of Eden” world. If we did, where would our desire for Heaven fit in?
•No, we live in a real world. This is a world of heartache, pain and often chaos; a world of confusion and uncertainties.
• However, in spite of every negativity and uncertainty that the “curveball” of life has thrown your way, God is still in control and He still has the answer for your situation no, matter the depth.
•Jeremiah 32:27 KJV says, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
•And Jeremiah 32:17 KJV says, ”Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:”
•Let me encourage you today to reach out to God in a more determined way than ever before. Luke 17:6 KJV says, “And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”
•So, in reading this scripture, we realize we must build our faith. You may be wondering how you can build your faith to such a level as to actually change circumstances in your life or in the life of someone else. Well, Romans 10:17 KJV says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
•What that means is that you must feed your faith on God’s Word daily. You can do that by listening to preaching messages, reading your Bible, spending much time in prayer, and just being kingdom minded; not in church alone, but in your every day life.
•Brush the cobwebs of your prayer closet away and get on your knees vehemently! That will bring results!
•Remember this; there is absolutely nothing too hard for God!
•Furthermore, it’s God’s desire for you to attain the things you are praying for and the things you have need of. 3 John 1:2 KJV reminds us, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
•Although some may believe that the term “prosper” in this Scripture depicts monetary prosperity only, here’s a few words the Oxford dictionary gives, “…thrive, expand, blossom, grow vigorously,
get on well,”
•So we are to understand that it’s his desire for us to prosper in every entity of our being; spirit, soul, emotions, mind, body, marriage relationships, finances, etc. The catch is that the Scripture says, “…as thy soul prospereth.”
•As we begin to feast more and more on God’s Word we will begin to see those things happen. Our faith will begin to grow by leaps and bounds! Fear, that some have described as “False Evidence Appearing Real,” will flee! What once seemed impossible will be as nothing more than a prayer away.
•We will begin to experience things in the supernatural world that only the ones walking in that closeness to God can experience. Our spiritual eyes will be enlightened and we will see the impossible as it moves into the realm of possibility.
•You’ve got this! God loves you and it’s His desire for you to have a keen eye for oncoming curveballs. It’s His desire for you to level the mountains of your life. it’s His will for you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospereth.
• I hope these words have comforted your spirit and inspired you to reach out for more of God than you ever have before.
