Paraffin Wax Hand Treatment Therapy

Why Paraffin Wax Hand Treatment Therapy

The Paraffin Wax Hand Therapy is used in spas and salons as an emollient which assists in locking moisture into the skin. After the paraffin has been peeled away, rough hands and cuticles are renewed to a soft, supple and moisturized state.

Heat from the wax has been known to temporarily soothe aching joints and improve circulation. It also has a relaxing effect, helping to calm and relieve stress. This effect is enhanced by the essential oil of Lavender.

Lavender Essential Oil: Hydrating to dry and damaged skin, Lavender EO tones and helps with various skin conditions such as sunburn, and psoriasis. Lavender has a soothing effect while calming the nervous system.

The addition of Tea Tree oil in the wax serves as follows:

Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia): Because of its disinfectant, fungicidal, antibacterial, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, tea tree oil has a healing effect on the skin. It has been used to treat eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties it has been known to relieve joint pain.
